چکیده

Abstract Background Bacterial bioagents, Pseudomonas fluorescens , P. putida Bacillus amyloliquifaciens and B. megaterium have management potential against root-knot nematode (RKN), Meloidogyne incognita in bottle gourd. Results Field laboratory experiments were conducted to evaluate the effect of bacterial bioagents 1% WP (2 × 10 6 CFU/g), 8 9 CFU/g) on egg hatching juvenile mortality nematode, M. . All species inhibited caused mortality. The lowest mean 120 h. after treatment was observed (20.9% hatching), followed by (21.1%), (23.7%), (24.7%) at 4% concentration formulated product (47%) control. found highest (57.1% mortality) exposure, (56.13%), (54.46%), (53.13%) 0.46 control, where distilled water used. Under field conditions, gourd seeds that treated either with amyloliquefaciens or g/kg seed along application neem cake (1t/ha) significantly resulted reduced root gall index number juveniles soil roots than non-treated Conclusion This study revealed tested namely amyloquefaciens showed for controlling knot (RKN) as well conditions

Bacterial mixture from greenhouse soil as a biocontrol agent against root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita, on oriental melon.

The biological control efficacy of a greenhouse soil bacterial mixture of Lactobacillus farraginis, Bacillus cereus, and Bacillus thuringiensis strains with antinematode activity was evaluated against the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita. Two control groups planted in soil drenched with sterile distilled water or treated with the broadspectrum carbamate pesticide carbofuran were used fo...

Hirsutella rhossiliensisand Verticillium chlamydosporium as Biocontrol Agents of the Root-knot Nematode Meloidogyne hapla on Lettuce.

Hirsutella rhossiliensis and Verticillium chlamydosporium infected second-stage juveniles (J2) and eggs of Meloidogyne hapla, respectively, in petri dishes and in organic soil in pots planted to lettuce in the greenhouse. In vitro, H. rhossiliensis produced 78 to 124 spores/infected J2 of M. hapla. The number of J2 in roots of lettuce seedlings decreased exponentially with increasing numbers of...

Extracellular protease of Pseudomonas fluorescens CHA0, a biocontrol factor with activity against the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita.

In Pseudomonas fluorescens CHA0, mutation of the GacA-controlled aprA gene (encoding the major extracellular protease) or the gacA regulatory gene resulted in reduced biocontrol activity against the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita during tomato and soybean infection. Culture supernatants of strain CHA0 inhibited egg hatching and induced mortality of M. incognita juveniles more strongly...
